Dmitry Rudkovsky, Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation for the Support of Christian Culture and Heritage, paid a working visit to the Nikolo-Ugresh Seminary on February 13, 2025.
For several years, the Foundation has been providing assistance in organizing the life and leisure of foreign students, as well as in implementing educational programs intended for non-native speakers of the Russian language.
Thanks to the support of the Foundation, with the blessing of Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations, and Metropolitan Konstantin of Zaraysk, Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, winter clothes and shoes were purchased for African students, and laptops were purchased for first-year students who performed well in their studies.
At a meeting with Dmitry Rudkovsky, the acting rector of the seminary, Hieromonk Luke (Pronsky), accompanied by Priest Dimitri Kuzeev, Head of the International Cooperation Department, discussed the interaction between the Foundation and the seminary and developed a strategy for its development. After the conversation, all the participants went to lunch, at the end of which Hieromonks Luka and Dmitry Rudkovsky solemnly handed laptops to African students of the 1st year. Dmitry Rudkovsky, on behalf of the Foundation, wished the children success in receiving spiritual education and learning the Russian language.
Hieromonk Luke, the administration and students of the African Exarchate expressed gratitude to Dmitry Rudkovsky and the Foundation for the Support of Christian Culture and Heritage for their care and attention to seminarians from Africa.
