Russian Russian Language and Culture Association named after A. I. Solzhenitsyn with the support of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian House in Ankara held a [children's camp] on August 5-29, 2021 in the vicinity of the city of Ephesus in Turkey "Пилигрим"](https://fscch.ru/ru/news/the-orthodox-summer-camp-pilgrim-in-turkey-has-started-its-work/).
Russian Russian language and culture, the basics of the Orthodox faith were studied by the children, they were engaged in general physical training, practiced archery, orienteering, participated in mini-hikes. A theater workshop was organized in the camp, where the children were engaged in the basics of public speaking and acting.
More than 60 boys and girls became participants of the project. Among them were not only the children of compatriots, but also children from Turkish families. On August 26, Priest Georgy Sergeyev, who is responsible for the care of the faithful of the Moscow Patriarchate in the territory of the Republic of Turkey, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Pilgrim children's camp. After the service, the priest held a conversation with the children and answered their questions.
Russian Russian House head in Ankara Alexander Sotnichenko presented each pupil with a certificate of participation and a book in Russian at the closing ceremony of the camp.
