On July 17, 2024, on the memorial day of the Holy Royal Passion-bearers, Priest Georgy Sergeev, responsible for organizing the care of the Russian-speaking flock of the Moscow Patriarchate in the territory of the Turkish Republic, in the co-service of Priest Dimitri Bogatyr, rector of the community in Alanya, celebrated the Liturgy for compatriots living in this region.
After his release, Father George addressed the faithful with a welcoming speech. He congratulated the community on the third anniversary of the beginning of regular worship services.
The priest also thanked Priest Dimitri Bogatyr and all those who have worked hard over the past time in the establishment of community life, wishing God's help and blessed success.
