On November 2, 2021, the representative of the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Metropolitan Niphon of Philippopolis, the representative of the Patriarch of Serbia to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Bishop Anthony of Moravich, the representative of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Archimandrite Seraphim (Shemyatovsky) and the representative of the Orthodox Church in America to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Archpriest Daniel Andreyuk, arrived in the Kazan diocese.
Representatives of Local Churches will take part in church celebrations on the occasion of the celebration of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, established in memory of the deliverance of Moscow and Russia from the invaders in 1612.

Metropolitan Kirill of Kazan and Tatarstan warmly welcomed the guests, told them about the history of Orthodoxy in Tatarstan, the shrines of the Kazan region, and the development of areas of church service. The ruling bishop paid special attention to social service in the Kazan diocese, educational and educational activities and work with the younger generation.
