On January 19, 2022, on the feast of the Holy Epiphany, the Baptism of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, a festive divine service was held at the Representation of the Russian Orthodox Church in Damascus.
The Divine Liturgy, which was celebrated by the representative of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia at the Patriarchal See of Antioch, Hegumen Arseny (Sokolov), was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Syria A.V. Efimov, embassy staff, representative of the federal agency "Rossotrudnichestvo" in Syria N.V. Sukhov, parishioners of the house church at the Representation of the Russian Orthodox Church in Damascus.
At the end of the Liturgy, Abbot Arseny performed the rite of the great consecration of water, then sprinkled all the worshippers with great agiasm.
At the end of the service, a festive tea party was held in the premises of the Representative Office.
