A new computer lab has opened at the Tomsk Theological Seminary

On July 4, 2024, as part of the First All-Russian Student Conference with international participation "On the Holiness of the Church in different languages", held with the blessing of Metropolitan Rostislav of Tomsk and Asinovsky, the Tomsk Theological Seminary hosted the grand opening of a new computer classroom for seminarians.

The opening ceremony was attended by Rector of the Tomsk Theological Seminary, Candidate of theology, Associate Professor Archimandrite Joseph (Yeremenko), Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation for the Support of Christian Culture and Heritage Dmitry Rudkovsky, as well as students of the Tomsk Theological Seminary and guests of the conference.

Equipping the computer lab with new technology and holding the conference itself became possible thanks to the help of the Foundation for the Support of Christian Culture and Heritage. This is not the first event in which the interaction of the Foundation and the theological school helps to make the theological education of foreign students of the seminary more comfortable and versatile.

The conference will continue until July 5th. All guests will take part in the central event of the conference – the Divine Liturgy on the day of the memory of St. Theodore of Tomsk in the Theotokos-Alexievsky Monastery in Tomsk.

After the liturgy, a solemn act of the Tomsk Theological Seminary will take place, which will conclude this international forum.
