The Orthodox Cathedral in honor of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built at the expense of believers and consecrated in 2013, but remained without painting until 2023. The beautification of the Cathedral in Kosice, the second largest city in Slovakia, is of great importance for strengthening Orthodoxy in the Slovak Republic.
