On July 17, 2025, the day of commemoration of the Holy Royal Passion-bearers, Priest Georgy Sergeev, responsible for organizing the care of the Russian-speaking flock of the Moscow Patriarchate in the territory of the Republic of Turkey, co-served by the rector of the community of the Russian Orthodox Church in Alanya, Priest Dimitri Bogatyr, celebrated the Divine Liturgy for compatriots living in the region.
After his release, Priest George addressed the faithful with a welcoming speech and congratulated the community on the fourth anniversary of the beginning of regular worship services. He also thanked Priest Dimitri and all those who have worked hard over the past period in the establishment of community life, wishing God's help and blessed success, the telegram channel of the communities of the Russian Orthodox Church in Turkey reports.
