On April 27, 2021, the state TV channel "Culture" showed a documentary film "The Polish Orthodox Church", created with the participation of the Foundation for the Support of Christian Culture and Heritage.
The film tells about the glorious and tragic history of Orthodoxy in Poland, about how Orthodox churches were destroyed in the 20s and 30s of the XX century, about the new Martyrs of Kholm and Polessky, about the hardships of the Second World War, about the post-war revival and modern life of the Polish Orthodox Church in the film, its Primate, His Beatitude Metropolitan Savva of Warsaw and all Poland.
Among the other participants of the documentary are Archbishop Abel of Lublin and Kholm, Archbishop Jacob of Bialystok and Gdansk, Bishop Andrey of Suprasl, as well as clerics, monastics and laity of the Polish Orthodox Church, including representatives of its youth movement, which is actively developing today.
The author and presenter of the film is Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk. The film was shot by the studio "Neofit".
