The delegation of the Foundation for the Support of Christian Culture and Heritage visited Poland on August 20 and 21, 2021.
As part of the business trip, a meeting was held with ** His Beatitude Metropolitan Savva of Warsaw and All Poland**, who thanked the Foundation for its active participation in the completion of works in the Church of Sophia, the Wisdom of God, in Warsaw. After visiting the Metropolitan's residence, representatives of the Foundation arrived at the Sofia Temple to familiarize themselves with the current stage of the work carried out, where they examined the interior painting of the temple and discussed completion работ.
On August 21, a meeting was held with Bishop Athanasius of Lodz and Poznan, during which possible joint projects were discussed, such as the restoration work of the Church of St. Nicholas of Myra in the city of Poznan and the restoration of the Cathedral of St. Alexander Nevsky in the Polish city of Lodz.
Representatives of the Foundation also met with ** Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Poland Sergey Andreev**.
Following the results of the official visit of the Foundation's delegation, meetings with the highest clergy of the Polish Orthodox Church and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Poland, the parties agreed on further cooperation.
