The Orthodox Cathedral, named after the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos, St. John the Merciful and St. Rosalia of Palermo, was erected at the expense of believers and consecrated in 2013, but has remained without a painting until now. The beautification of the Cathedral in Kosice, the second largest city in Slovakia, is of great importance for strengthening Orthodoxy in the Slovak Republic.
