On February 4, 2026, the feast day of the Apostle Timothy (c. 96), the Divine Liturgy was held at the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the city of Nazareth. The Liturgy was celebrated by Metropolitan Cyriak of Nazareth and Metropolitan Kirill of Kazan and Tatarstan, co-served by Archimandrite Vassian (Zmeev), head of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission, and other clergymen.
Egor Skopenko, Executive Director of the Foundation for the Support of Christian Culture and Heritage, also took part in the service.
At the end of the Liturgy, Metropolitan Kiriak and Metropolitan Kirill consecrated the icon of the Mother of God "Life-giving Spring", located on one of the walls of the Church of the Annunciation. The mosaic image of the Queen of Heaven was made with funds from the Foundation for the Support of Christian Culture and Heritage.
