November 1, 2024 marked the sixth anniversary of the resumption of regular divine services in the Church of Saints Constantine and Elena on the territory of the summer residence of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Istanbul (Turkey).
Sunday divine service on the eve of this day was performed by Priest Georgy Sergeev, responsible for organizing the care of the flock of the Moscow Patriarchate in the territory of the Turkish Republic. At the end of the Liturgy, Father George congratulated the community on the sixth anniversary of the resumption of liturgical life, stressing the importance of Eucharistic communion in the bosom of the Moscow Patriarchate, and particularly noted the care of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia for the flock in the Turkish Republic.
In response, the representative of the community, Svetlana Derin, on behalf of all parishioners, thanked the clergy for caring for the flock at such a difficult time in the history of the Church.
