On December 10, 2021, with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Sava of Warsaw and All Poland, the delegation of the Foundation for the Support of Christian Culture and Heritage, headed by the Executive Director of the Foundation Egor Skopenko, visited the Martha and Mary Monastery on the Holy Grabarka Mountain and the monastery of the Holy Great Martyr Catherine in the village of Zaleshany.

The delegation of the Foundation was accompanied by A.Y. Khoshev, an employee of the Secretariat of the Department of External Church Relations for Inter-Orthodox Relations.

On the holy Grabarka Mountain, the guests from Russia were warmly welcomed by the abbess of the Martha and Mary Monastery, Abbess Ermioniya (Shchur), showing them the monastic temples in honor of the Transfiguration of the Lord and the icon of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Mourn", telling them about the Mountain of Crosses and the monastery established on it in 1947, which became one of the centers of Orthodoxy in Poland and the venue for mass pilgrimages to the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord.

On the same day, a delegation of the Foundation for the Support of Christian Culture and Heritage and a representative of the DECR visited the monastery of St. Catherine the Great Martyr in the village of Zaleshany, whose inhabitants suffered martyrdom for the Orthodox faith in 1946. The guests were warmly welcomed by the abbess of the monastery, Nun Elizabeth (Nichiporuk). They worshiped the shrines of the monastery and inspected the monastery church under construction, which will be dedicated to the Holy Great Martyr Catherine and the Holy New Martyrs of Kholm and Podlaski.
