On December 7, 2021, Archpriest Nikolai Balashov, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate's Department for External Church Relations, and a delegation of the Foundation for the Support of Christian Culture and Heritage headed by the Foundation's Executive Director Egor Skopenko, at the invitation of Bishop Photius of Zvornitsko-Tuzlansky, visited the monastery of Blessed Matrona of Moscow in the village of Ritesic (Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina).
Abbot of the monastery, a graduate of the Moscow Theological Academy, Abbot Isaiah (Lukich) warmly welcomed the guests, showing them the main monastery church in the name of the Blessed Matron, whose beautification with the support of the Russian Orthodox Church has been carried out with the help of the Foundation since 2020, the lower church of St. Seraphim of Sarov, where divine services are already being performed, as well as residential and auxiliary premises of the monastery.
The improvement of the monastery of the Blessed Matrona of Moscow, carried out with the assistance of the Foundation for the Support of Christian Culture and Heritage, is scheduled to be completed in 2023.
